Self-Publishing?

Quick note: Click on this link and watch Authors Exercise their 'WRITE' to Self-Publish (on CBS Sunday Morning).

Verrrrrry interesting! A short ad runs first so stay tuned. Tell me what you think.

Good link. I love stories like Rick Evans's.

So do I. I also like it when big names encourage this and don't feel threatened or 'turned off' by Indie publishing. :)

The more people self publish, the harder it's going to be to get noticed, and it's pretty darn hard right now.

Glad you've created a new normal, during this difficult time. Procrastination has dogged me, too, this Holiday. Healing prayers and blessings to you and Yours.

Hi Jess-Jessie-Jessy! I always tape the CBS Sunday Morning Show. I love it because it showcases so many different people, artists, etc. I, too, love the Rick Evans "Cinderella" story about his writing career. And yes, self-publishing had a bad reputation just a few years ago. I said I wouldn't do it, but times have changed... My memoir will be available in early 2013! And yes, there is a LOT of bad writing out there, self-published by people who think they are writers. A lot of it depends on the marketing. Okay, there's my way more than 2 cents worth!

Hi Becky, I love memoirs. I made notes for my own memoir a couple of years ago but lost them and have not revisited that idea. :-/
However, I'm afraid no one in my family saw things (or remembers things) the way I did so it was probably a God-thing that my notes disappeared. :)
