Circus Girl

Remember, I told you about my Speed Dating Pitch session?  You can read about it here. We had to limit our pitch to 100 words.  Here's mine. The editor asked for the complete manuscript!

Virtual assistant Karla Bradshaw fears her daughter’s dream of becoming a circus performer like her deceased, devil-may-care dad, and relocates them to East Texas only to run into a summer circus training program.

Sawyer Parks, a lawyer-turned-circus-director, never had family support when he pursued his dreams, and enjoys mentoring young performers as well as their parents. When he meets Karla, he recognizes a challenge—as well as pain and fear.

Can Sawyer love a serious, overprotective mom who tries to control her daughter’s dreams? Can Karla trust another care-free circus performer—with her daughter and her heart?
