A Song for You

I hope everyone is having a blessed Sunday. I'd like to sing you a song, but since I sound like a sick frog, I'll just post the words here. This song goes out to special friends and loved ones in need of prayer. I thought of each of you as we sung this song in my Bible Study class this morning. I love it. I realize it's a song of invitation and acceptance, so I invite you to hide these words in your heart, and accept Jesus' promise that He will not fail us. He promised.

Turn Your Eyes Upon Jesus - words and music by Helen H. Lemmel

O soul, are you weary and troubled? No light in the darkness you see? There's light for a look at the Savior, and life more abundant and free!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.

His word shall not fail you--He promised. Believe Him and all will be well: Then go to a world that is dying, His perfect salvation to tell!

Turn your eyes upon Jesus. Look full in His wonderful face, And the things of earth will grow strangely dim in the light of His glory and grace.

I love the old hymns that I grew up singing. I love the memory of my grandfather being asked to pray, seeing him kneel beside the pew.

Today, I'm praying for Eric, Susan, John, Alvaro, Johnny, Brenda. And of course, if you could breathe a healing prayer for these six, I'd appreciate it.

Many blessings to you this week. I hope you're writing!

beautiful song. I attended easter mass with my sis and niece at the basilica in washington dc. It was amazing and so beautiful. People were standing up in the back and on the sides.

I haven't felt peace like I felt leaving the church that day. God is good!
