First Thoughts

"When you wake up in the morning, Pooh," said Piglet at last, "what's the first thing you say to yourself?"

"What's for breakfast?" said Pooh. "What do you say, Piglet?"

"I say, I wonder what's going to happen exciting today?" said Piglet.

Pooh nodded thoughtfully."It's the same thing," he said."

I'm with Pooh, as soon as my eyes pop open I think about breakfast. Once, I get breakfast out the way then I know everything else will be just right.

I love Winnie-The-Pooh! The baby nursery was all decorated in that when I was having lots of babies. I bought all the books and movies in hopes at least one of my children would like Pooh, but I guess they were sick of him by then. (That's never stopped me, though- I still love 'em).

I'm chuckling. Milne knew characterization, didn't he?

My first thought of the day? Hmm...I know what it SHOULD be, but it tends to be the list of 'to do's' that I last thought about the night before.

I've always said, breakfast is the most important meal of the day.

I think I'm a combo of Pooh and Piglet. I think of both. Very thought provoking, Jess.

My granddaughter's nursery is Winnie the Pooh and it's adorable.

Hmm. My first thought is "It can't be morning already. I need a few more minutes to sleep." then I spend the rest of the day thinking about food.

I love Winnie the Pooh. I bought the books and crocheted a blanket just hoping I'd get to use them for my own children. I eventually gave the book to a friend for her baby shower - (I hid the blanket - a girl can hope, right?). lol
